Weddings

We believe that marrying in church and making your vows before God surrounded by your family and friends is a uniquely moving and joyful experience.

At All Saints, we are blessed with a beautiful building and we can provide church bells, an organist and choir.   To marry in our church, All Saints should be your parish church or hold some special significance for you.  Even if you live outside the parish, you may still be able to hold your ceremony at All Saints.

You can find out whether All Saints is your parish church by clicking here and the Church of England website provides some helpful information about the legal aspects of a church wedding.

To make an enquiry about marrying at All Saints or just to find out more please use our life events form below

Baptisms

We welcome people of any age for baptism. Whatever age you are it is the start of a life-long journey and commitment to follow Christ.

When do baptisms take place?
Normally during our Sunday morning service when everyone meets together for worship. We promise to support and pray for those to be baptized.

Who can be baptized at All Saints’?
Normally those who live in the part of High Wycombe which All Saints’ Church serves and those outside this geographical area who worship regularly at All Saints.  You can find out whether All Saints is your parish church by clicking here

What do I need to do?
Please complete our life events form below.  You will be invited to attend some preparation sessions to think about the commitment you are making for yourself or your child and ask any questions. We'd also love to meet with you afterwards.

How will I know what to do on the day?
One of the sessions is a rehearsal in church and you will be guided by the priest who is leading the service.

Who can be a godparent?
The Church of England requires all godparents to have been baptized themselves. They do not have to be members of the Church of England.

We hope this answers some of your questions and we look forward to talking to you about this important event.  For more general information please visit the Church of England website pages Christenings or adult baptisms
